Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Campus São Paulo. Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have a degree in Biomedical Science from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), with an emphasis on Clinical Analysis, and a postgraduate degree in Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Centro Universitário SENAC. I also completed a specialization in Laboratory Surveillance of Rabies at the Pasteur Institute, where I acquired solid experience in virology, serology, molecular biology, animal management, immunohistochemistry and cell culture. I have experience in manual and automated extraction of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) from different types of biological samples, applying these techniques both in tests for infectious diseases and in the diagnosis of genetic diseases. I am proficient in advanced molecular methods, such as real-time PCR, conventional PCR and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). I am currently a PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). My research is focused on virology, with a focus on metatranscriptomic analysis and viromic profiling of bats, addressing viral surveillance, molecular evolution and potential zoonotic risks.
