Diego Inglez de Souza is an Architect and urban planner graduated in 2003 at Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo (FAU-USP), master in History of architecture and urbanism (FAU-USP / 2009) and PhD in History and Architecture and Urbanism at the same institution and Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (2014), developing his thesis on social housing projects and history in Brazil and France in the last 50 years from a transnational and comparative perspective. Teacher at Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (UNICAP) between 2015 and 2020, assistant curator of the X Architecture Bienal of São Paulo (2013), author of ?Reconstruindo Cajueiro Seco: Arquitetura, política social e cultura popular em Pernambuco (1960-64)? and many articles on architecture, social housing and urban history. He was a researcher associated to the research project The Sea and the Coast, Architecture and Marine Biology in the Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory (Lab2PT) of the University of Minho (2019- 2021) and is currently an integrated researcher at Dynamics-CET of ISCTE-IUL in the research project ReARQ.IB - Built Environment Knowledge for Resilient, Sustainable Communities: Understanding Everyday Modern Architecture and Urban Design in the Iberian Peninsula (1939-1985).
