Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of São Paulo, where she teaches English and Translation, at graduate and undergraduate levels. A lawyer by training, specializing in Contract Law, she holds a BA, MA and PHd in English. She has over 20 years of experience as translator and conference interpreter. She supervises MA and PhD students. She was Senior Researcher at Fundação Memorial da América Latina in the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chair/Cooperation Network for the Integration of Latin America in 2020. She collaborates and coordinates collective translation projects. Her research interests are translation, power and activism, feminist decolonial translation, translation historiography and academic writing. She was Gastwissenschfatlerin at Universität Leipzig, Germany (2022-2024) and Visiting Researcher at the International Institute (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Hague, Netherlands (2022-2023). She is currently a researcher under the WB.Yeats Chair for Irish Studies and carries out research on Translation, Gender and Coloniality. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
