Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Ph.D. in Chemistry: Science and Technology of Sustainability from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where she worked in the fields of physical chemistry and organic physical chemistry. She holds a Masters degree in Science from the Federal University of São Paulo, with a focus on analytical chemistry. She earned her Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the same institution. She has experience in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Electroanalytical Chemistry, and Materials Chemistry, having participated in various research projects throughout her career. At UNIFESP, during her masters program, she worked on the electrochemical determination of pesticides and hormones. During her Ph.D., she focused on the development of materials to serve as electrodes in the electrochemical generation of hydrogen peroxide, applied to the degradation of organic compounds. In her first postdoctoral research at IQSC (Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos), she worked on the development of genosensors for COVID-19 detection. Currently, in her second postdoctoral research at IQSC, in collaboration with UCLM (University of Castilla-La Mancha), she is working on catalysis for in situ hydrogen peroxide production applied to the oxidation of organic contaminants. Additionally, she is involved in the synthesis and characterization of rare earth nanostructures for the fabrication of electrodes applied to the electrooxidation of organic pollutants.Currently resides in Spain.
