HELENE, Diana is a professor of urban studies in the Architecture and Urbanism course at the University of Grande Rio (UNIGRANRIO); with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2005); Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the State University of São Paulo - USP (2009); PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at the Urban and Regional Planning and Research Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - IPPUR-UFRJ (2015) with a exchange program doctorate at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales - EHESS (Paris-France, 2013); postdoctoral degree in urban studies at the Institute of Geography of the Université du Québec à Montréal - UQAM (Canada, 2016/2017); and postdoctoral degree in Urban and Regional Planning at IPPUR-UFRJ (2017/2018). She has experience in the teaching and research of the following subjects: gender, city rights, urban and regional planning, urban informality, social housing, social tecnology and solidarity economy. In university extension and popular education he has experience in cooperativism, popular and community communication, art education, audiovisual production and school reinforcement in popular cooperatives, communities and social movements.
