Masters degree in Chemistry (2022), with a concentration in Physical Chemistry, and Bachelors degree in Chemistry (2020), both from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gabriel Luiz Cruz de Souza. Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry, with a concentration in Physical Chemistry, at the University of São Paulo São Carlos Campus (USP-SC), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roberto Luiz Andrade Haiduke. Conducted research at the Molecular Modeling Laboratory (LMM) of the Department of Chemistry at UFMT (DQ-UFMT), focusing on theoretical studies of electron scattering by small molecules, theoretical studies on the antioxidant properties of organic moleculesemphasizing bond dissociation enthalpies (BDEs), ionization potentials (IPs), and studies on the ground and electronically excited states of molecules of environmental or biological relevance. Currently, my PhD research focuses on the influence of microsolvation and ionic interactions on the triplet-sensitized sulfur dioxide extrusion mechanism during the photodegradation of sulfonamides in aqueous solutions. In addition, I investigate the tautomerization mechanism of sulfonamides, the influence of pH on interconversion barriers, and the effect of this tautomerism on ultraviolet/visible absorption spectra.
