Fifth-year undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp), Rio Claro campus SP, Brazil. Currently engaged in undergraduate research at the Laboratory of Microorganism Genetics (LGM), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Henrique Ferreira, with a focus on molecular biology of microorganisms. The current project involves the bioinformatic and structural characterization of depolymerases encoded by phages that infect Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri, aiming at applications in the biological control of citrus canker.
