He is currently a FAPESP master's student in the FFCLRP's Graduate Program in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sofia Nikolaou, developing a research project focused on studying ruthenium cyclometallated nitrosyl complexes and their biological properties. He is conducting excited-state studies and interactions with biomolecules at FCTUC, the School of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, in Coimbra, Portugal.
