Laura Lorenzetti is a Psychologist (PUC-Campinas, 2018), holds a Masters degree (CNPq scholarship holder), and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology as Profession and Science at the same institution, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She worked for six years (20192024) as a School Psychologist in the municipal education network of Campinas, through the ECOAR Project (Space for Coexistence, Action, and Reflection), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Raquel Souza Lobo Guzzo, focused on child development and the prevention of violence within school contexts. She is a member of the Research Group Critical Psychology and Development Processes in School and Community Contexts (GEP-InPsi) and of the Working Group on School and Educational Psychology of ANPEPP. She also collaborates with the Regional Psychology Council of São Paulo (CRP-SP), Campinas branch, through the Regional and State Education Subcommittee.Her professional and academic work is guided by a critical and emancipatory perspective of Psychology, inspired by Paulo Freire, Ignacio Martín-Baró, Fernando González Rey, Vygotsky, and the Latin American tradition of liberation. She develops research and practices that interconnect school, community, and collective inquiry, aiming to foster spaces of listening, dialogue, and social transformation. Her main areas of interest include Critical School Psychology, Social and Community Psychology, Human Development, and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
