Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and a Master's degree in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Ecology and Evolution at the same institution, where she was a FAPESP scholarship holder. She specializes in floristics, taxonomy, and plant systematics, with a focus on the Rubiaceae family. During her undergraduate research, she conducted a survey of Rubiaceae species in the Juquery State Park in Franco da Rocha, SP the largest remnant of Cerrado in the state which resulted in the publication of an article (DOI: 10.1590/2175-7860202475028). Her master's thesis investigated the diversity of the genus Rudgea (Rubiaceae, Palicoureeae) in Bahia, including a survey of the species recorded in the Northeast region of Brazil. Additionally, she studied the current and future distribution of Rudgea species in the Atlantic Forest through distribution modeling. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
