CMAS-certified diver since 2012, with professional experience in dive schools and dive operators, as well as internships at marine farms in Ilha Grande (RJ). Participated in a Junior Scientific Initiation project in 2017, conducting a survey of ichthyofaunal biodiversity in the Bananal Bay (Ilha Grande-RJ), presented in 2018 at the Science Days an international science and technology event promoted by NASA in partnership with the Brazil-Florida Chamber of Commerce (CCBF). Holds a Bachelors degree in Marine Science and Technology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and is currently an undergraduate student in Oceanography at the same institution. Since 2022, has been a member of the Marine Ecology and Conservation Laboratory (LABEC-Mar/IMAR-UNIFESP), actively participating in scientific expeditions focused on monitoring and conserving reef environments and rhodolith beds. Experienced in techniques such as photo-quadrats, stationary visual censuses, transects for monitoring and removal of sun coral (Tubastraea spp.), bathymetry and sonar mapping, BRUVs (Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems), and the application of citizen science questionnaires. Carried out a Scientific Initiation project funded by FAPESP (20232025), which resulted in two scientific articles currently under review, one of which was presented at the Latin American Congress of Marine Sciences (COLACMAR) and the Brazilian Congress of Oceanography (CBO) in 2024.
