Research Assistant at the Center for Studies and Research on Sustainable Food and Production Systems (NuPAS/UFSCar Lagoa do Sino Campus), as part of the international project Building Resilience: How Conservation Agriculture Helps Rural Smallholder Farmers Adapt to Climate Change, focusing on the analysis of the impacts of conservation agriculture among women smallholder farmers in the Vale do Ribeira region (SP/PR), with an emphasis on climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. The project team comprises specialists from Nigeria, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Canada, forming an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral consortium.Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Urbanization Studies for Knowledge and Innovation (CEUCI, 20232025), affiliated with the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism at Unicamp (FECFAU/UNICAMP), conducting research on urban collectives, urban sustainability, food systems, social participation, and social innovation through participatory methodologies in knowledge territories and innovation districts.She holds a PhD in Global Health and Sustainability from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (2021), a Masters in Environmental Science and Development from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland (2012), and a BA and teaching degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2007).She has conducted research on sustainability and urban agriculture in contexts of social vulnerability, exploring their intersections with urban agroecology, social participation, womens leadership, grassroots entrepreneurship, and eco-pedagogy. She has extensive experience in coordinating and carrying out socioeconomic, environmental, and food-related research in disadvantaged urban communities in São Paulo (Brazil), Dublin (Ireland), and Lisbon (Portugal), as well as in rural communities in Rwanda (Africa). Her work is guided by principles of social, gender, environmental, and food justice.She has a strong track record in community organizing with peripheral, Black, and Indigenous women, as well as experience in community management and engagement with various sectors (private and mixed enterprises, the public sector, and civil society) for the implementation of social and environmental projects, including fundraising. She has vast experience in the third sector, public sector, corporate social responsibility, grassroots entrepreneurship, and income generation projects. She is a creative researcher and manager, a specialist in participatory methods, and is recognized for her ability to engage in dialogue and mobilize diverse audiences. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
