Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Rio Claro. Instituto de Geociências e Ciências Exatas (IGCE)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Peru

PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), with a master's degree from the same institution (2015) and a degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, Peru (2010). My research integrates advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to solve complex problems in two main areas: (1) multivariate forecasting of time series, developing models with applications in energy, environment, finance and industrial processes; and (2) computer vision applied to 3D tomographic images, with an emphasis on automatic detection, segmentation and extraction of morphometric measurements to aid medical diagnoses and quantitative analyses.I have extensive experience in applied AI, covering Natural Language Processing (NLP), data modeling and industrial automation. My practical work includes projects in process control, intelligent instrumentation and identification of dynamic systems, where I implemented solutions that reduced operational costs in the industry.
