Full Professor, Dean of the School of Nursing at the University of Sao Paulo(USP) during the 2019-2023 term, P1 at the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP, President of the Interunit Doctoral Program in Nursing (2016 to 2019). Received the title of Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing - FAAN. In 2004, participated in the postdoctoral program at the School of Nursing, Yale University (New Haven, USA), conducting research on palliative care. Since 2008, she has been the leader of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Loss and Grief - NIPPEL. She is dedicated to the production of knowledge in the areas of family nursing, death and grief, and palliative care. Founder of the Red Internacional de Enfermería en Cuidados Paliativos/Enf Americas OPS. Conducted research abroad at the Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Engages in activities in the field of technological innovation, focusing mainly on information technology in the areas of family nursing, death and grief, and palliative care. She is a postdoctoral supervisor and has engaged in technical activities and international exchange as a visiting professor at various universities.
