Carolina Nemeth Comparato is a Master's student in Hydraulic and Sanitary Engineering at the hydraulic and sanitation pograduate department -São Paulo University (PPGSHS - USP). During her graduation in Environmental Engineering at EESC-USP, she developed scientific initiation projects focused on elementary sulfur production and recovery through autotrophic denitrification, as well as coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation in jar tests. During her master's degree, she worked on studying the effects of melanoidins on acid and solvent production in fermentative processes and their impact on the microbial community.
