CV Lattes ORCID

Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Física (IF)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Doctor in Physics by the Federal University of Goiás (UFG, Brazil), where I also obtained my Bachelor's (2015) and Master's (2017) degrees in Physics. I had scholarships (Brazilian agencies: CNPq, CAPES) during both graduate and postgraduate educations. During my masters (2015-2017), I worked with various topics related to nonlinear classical waves with focus on numerical simulations of semi-analytic (variational) models derived from nonintegrable soliton-bearing systems. During my doctorate (2018-2022), I worked with research lines in condensed matter physics, with main focus on the complete development (from scratch) of a negative-sign-problem-free Quantum Monte-Carlo (QMC) code for the study of strongly correlated electronic systems. In the last two years of my doctorate (2020-2022), I was enrolled in two research projects linked to the supercomputers LaMCAD (Laboratório Multiusuário de Computação de Alto Desempenho / UFG / Goiânia-GO) and SDumont (Santos Dumont / Laboratório Nacional de Computação Científica / Petrópolis-RJ) where the majority of my research (via QMC simulations) was performed. Currently, I am enrolled in a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (IFUSP), my research primarily involves the usage of numerical techniques in the investigation of the properties of frustrated magnetic systems.
