PhD student in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) at the University of São Paulo (USP), Master in Biochemistry at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and graduated in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB), he is currently developing research in the area of Post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, biogenesis and ribosomal maturation. He has experience in the areas of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Protein Biochemistry, genomics, cloning and characterization of genes of biotechnological interest, and expression and characterization of recombinant proteins in heterologous systems.
