CV Lattes ResearcherID ORCID

Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein (SBIBAE). Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UFMS (2011). Master's degree in Genetics from UFPR (2014). PhD in Biotechnology from UCDB, with a sandwich doctorate at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos - USP (2021). She holds a postdoctoral degree in Data Science (2023) and another in Bioinformatics (2024). She founded the Oncolearning Technology research group (PPG-Biotechnology) and was a research fellow at Science with R (PPG-DL) at UCDB. She worked as a bioinformatician at the Center for Research in Immuno-Oncology (CRIO) at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (São Paulo/SP). She has experience in molecular biology, structural biology, data science, and bioinformatics. As a bioinformatician, she has developed pipelines for analyzing different types of genetic and molecular data. With an emphasis on transcriptomes, she employs different approaches for analyzing quantitative sequencing data (bulk RNAseq and single-cell RNAseq) aiming to identify DEGs and molecular signatures in cancer studies. As a data scientist, in addition to descriptive analyses, she performs predictive analyses with AI (supervised machine learning). She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (AB3C) and has actively participated in the 20th Brazilian Bioinformatics Congress: X-meeting 2024. In 2022, she was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Young Geneticist Award 2022 - Francisco Mauro Salzano, at GENETICS 2022 - 67th Brazilian Congress of Genetics by the Brazilian Society of Genetics (SBG).
