Master and PhD. at the department of physical geography at the University of São Paulo, she has been developing research that seeks to better understand the vulnerability of Brazilian society, which is repeatedly affected by natural disasters. During her undergraduate studies at Universidade Estadual Paulista - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), she researched the formation of the municipal ecological park of Ourinhos, in 2002, identifying its forest remnants and historical driving processes.
