Currently, she is a PhD student in the Materials Science and Technology Program (POSMAT) at FCT-UNESP, Presidente Prudente campus, and a FAPESP scholarship holder, under the guidance of Prof. Aldo Eloizo Job. She works on the study of fluorescent hydrogel formation based on cellulose from sugarcane bagasse for the detection of toxic metals and emerging contaminants. She graduated in Chemistry Education from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Presidente Prudente campus (FCT-UNESP). She obtained her Master's degree from POSMAT at FCT-UNESP, Presidente Prudente campus, with a CAPES scholarship, under the guidance of Prof. Aldo Eloizo Job and co-guidance of Dr. Guilherme Dognani. During her Master's, she developed functionalized cellulose microfibers for dye-contaminated water decontamination through adsorption and photodegradation, conducted at the Rubber Technology and Applications Laboratory - LTBA. During her graduation, she was a CNPq/PIBIC scholarship holder, conducting scientific initiation research that provided experience in the biological and chemical areas, with a focus on in vitro cytotoxicity/genotoxicity tests and green synthesis of Gold and Silver nanoparticles. She also participated as a scholarship holder in the PET Chemistry and Physics group at FCT-UNESP (2018-2019), gaining experience in the triad of Teaching, Research, and Extension.
