Prof. Dr. Wanderson Romão graduated in Chemistry (Bachelor and Licentiate) from the Federal University of Espírito Santo in 2006. He obtained his Master's Degree in Physics-Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) in 2009 and completed his doctorate in Sciences from the same University in 2010 with the defense of the thesis entitled "NEW APPLICATIONS OF MASS SPECTROMETRY IN FORENSIC CHEMISTRY". In the same year, Prof. Wanderson started his postdoctoral studies at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Currently, Dr. Wanderson Romão is a professor and is as Director of Research, Postgraduate and Extension of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo campus Vila Velha. In addition, the professor is a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFES. The professor has developed research mainly in the lines of Forensic Chemistry, Mass Spectrometry, Petroleomics, and Agribusiness, with several projects promoted by agencies such as CNPQ, FAPES and CAPES. He is a reviewer of more than a dozen high impact scientific journals, having published 184 articles in international and national journals, 7 chapters of published books, 7 deposits of patents and registrations, and 183 presentation of papers at national and international congresses . Prof. Wanderson has supervised or co-supervised 19 course completion and undergraduate research papers, 24 master's dissertations, 10 doctoral theses, 3 post-doctoral supervisions. Currently the group is composed of 17 students, and all the work is published on the website http://petroforense.ufes.br/ and on the YouTube channel ES Química Forense (https://www.youtube.com/user/wandersonromao) . These are facts that made Prof. Wanderson received the Honorable Mention in Recognition of Contributions to Scientific and Technological Development of the State of Espírito Santo, an award granted by the Government of the State of Espírito Santo, as well as the Forensic Highlight Award for best article in Forensic Sciences in the 2014-2015 biennium granted by Brazilian Society of Forensic Sciences. For these reasons, Prof. Wanderson is also a research productivity researcher at CNPq - Level 2 since 2014. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
