Bachelor's degree in Physics and Molecular Biology by the University of São Paulo (USP), at São Carlos Physics Institute (IFSC). During undergraduate, I developed scientific initiation project in the area of #8203;#8203;protein crystallography, carrying out heterologous expression techniques for recombinant proteins in bacteria, enzymatic activity assays and protein crystallization. Master's degree in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology by UFSCar, where I used a conditional knockout model for the Rad51 gene in murine oocytes, investigating effects on oogenesis, early embryogenesis and fertility. I observed ovulation, organization of meiotic chromosomes and DNA double-strand breaks with immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy. I evaluated the expression of repair cascade genes in knockout/wild-type oocytes by RT-qPCR. I also looked for effects on the amount of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) in oocyte growth (period of intense mtDNA replication). From April 2021 to April 2022, I worked at the company DNA Consult Genética e Biotecnologia Ltda, in research and development, where I mainly developed products for the molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases and implemented algorithms for calculating genetic ancestry and polygenic risk scores from genomic data. Currently on PhD in the postgraduate program in Biosciences and Biotechnology applied to Pharmacy at UNESP, developing a research project with single-cell genomic analysis, applied to central nervous system tumors.
