Oceanographer, holding a master's and doctoral degree in Oceanography with a specialization in Biological Oceanography from the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo. She was a scholarship recipient of the Foreign Sandwich Doctorate Program (PDSE - CAPES) at the Interdisciplinary Center for Environmental and Marine Research (CIIMAR, Porto - Portugal). Currently, she is a researcher in the Postdoctoral Program at USP (FAPESP) and is a voluntary editor for the digital platform for scientific dissemination "Bate-Papo com Netuno" (Chat with Neptune). Her areas of expertise encompass scientific communication, ecology, and the structure of marine ichthyofauna, utilizing fish as indicators of ecological and environmental integrity, fish stocks, otoliths (shape and chemical composition), paleoichthyology, and chemical composition of sediments. She possesses proficiency in inorganic chemical analyses of sediments and otoliths, biotic integrity indices, as well as the collection and analysis of marine ichthyofauna and oceanographic data.
