Beatriz Oliveira Fagundes

She has a technical background in Chemistry and carried out a voluntary internship in this area in 2017 in the chemistry laboratory of the Rede de Ensino Elite Opção in Mauá , where she received the Lavoisier Award for Best Student of the Technical Course in Chemistry in 2017. She is currently undertaking a Direct Doctorate at the School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (FM USP) with a FAPESP scholarship, where she also completed an internship in the Teaching Improvement Program (PAE) with a additional scholarship from the Department of Immunology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences IV at the University of São Paulo - ICB USP. During her undergraduate studies at Anhembi Morumbi University, she was a volunteer monitor in Human Structure and Function (2019) and in Body Systems (2020), assisting teachers in conducting and teaching the classes to be taught. She completed a voluntary professional internship in Clinical Analysis at the Associação Fundo de Incentivo à Pesquisa (AFIP) Laboratory of the Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia, a reference hospital in the area of Cardiology in Brazil. She collaborated with the production and publication of 12 scientific articles and her line of research investigates the elucidation of the mechanisms involved in the immunomodulatory effect of IgG antibodies from patients with Atopic Dermatitis on human thymic and peripheral alpha-beta T cells(TCD4 and TCD8). She specialized in Clinical Research at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FM-USP) and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Academic League of Cardiovascular Physiopathology and Complementary Therapies and the Academic League of Genetics and Bioethics, where both are Multiprofessional Academic Leagues and belong to to the Anhembi Morumbi University (UAM).
