Masters student in Applied Ecology at ESALQ-USP. Holds a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She is a member of the Laboratory of Ecology and Conservation (LAEC) led by Prof. Dr. Adriano Garcia Chiarello, where she is pursuing her academic masters degree with a project titled Analyzing the Effectiveness of Buffer Zones and Their Predictors in Retaining Ecological Functions. Her work is supervised by Prof. Dr. Adriano Garcia Chiarello, with co-supervision by Prof. Dr. Juliano A. Bogoni and Prof. Dr. Cristina Banks-Leite. Currently, she is undertaking an academic internship at Imperial College London. She is also an active member of the Fauna Floripa Project, where she serves as the operational coordinator and has conducted research on mammal fauna and defaunation on Santa Catarina Island. Additionally, she is involved in Environmental Education and Science Communication initiatives. Beyond her work with the Fauna Floripa Project, she is affiliated with the Serra Geral Ecological Corridor initiative in Santa Catarina and was part of the Long-Term Ecological Research Program (PELD-BISC).Her research interests include mammalogy, defaunation, conservation, landscape ecology, and functional ecology.
