Ariane Machado Lima is an Associate Professor in the Information Systems Bachelors and Post-Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where she has been since 2009. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Computer Science (2002), and a PhD in Bioinformatics (2006), all from the University of São Paulo. From 2007 to 2009, she completed her postdoctoral research in Bioinformatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of São Paulo.
