I hold a degree in Geology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE, 2010), where I was a Scientific Initiation Fellow (IC/CNPq). I completed my MSc in Geosciences at the same institution (UFPE, 2015), supported by the Petrobras Human Resources Training Programme (PFRH/Petrobras). I earned my PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom (2019), as a recipient of a CNPq Doctoral Fellowship Abroad (GDE).I served as an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Paleoceanography and Climate Change (itt Oceaneon/Unisinos), where I continue to collaborate on projects related to Biostratigraphy, Palynology, Geochemistry, Paleoceanography, and Palaeoclimatology. I was also a Fellow of the Research and Innovation Provosts Office at the University of São Paulo (PRPI/USP), working within the Academic Management Training Programme for the Geosciences Institute (IGc/USP). Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at IGc/USP, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).I completed an internship at the Geological Survey of Brazil (CPRM, 2010) and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Birmingham in courses on "Basin Evolution and Neotectonics" and "Palaeoclimates" (2017-2018). I have authored or co-authored 13 peer-reviewed publications, most of which appeared in high-ranking A1/A2 journals (Qualis/CAPES), including first authorship in a Nature Communications article. My contributions also include 1 technical report, 4 book chapters, 4 science outreach articles, 3 extended abstracts, 49 conference abstracts, and 23 conference presentations (oral and poster). I supervise 1 FAPESP-funded undergraduate student at the IGc/USP (2025-2026). I have received 2 travel grants to participate in international conferences (Lille, France, 2016; Southampton, UK, 2018) and served as a reviewer for an international journal. I have also participated in academic committees, including one for a PhD qualifying examination (Unisinos, 2022), one for an MSc defence (UERJ, 2021), and two for MSc qualifying examinations (Unisinos, 2022).Furthermore, I co-organised an international micropalaeontology event, including its website development, and delivered 3 short courses on Palaeoclimatology (Rio de Janeiro, 2018; Uberlândia, 2019; Brasília/virtual, 2021).My experience includes science outreach and public engagement, having contributed to initiatives such as the "Polar Explorer Programme," the Family Fun Event at the Lapworth Museum, and the Science Night during British Science Week (UK, 2018). I represented Brazil in the International Ocean Discovery Programme (IODP) as a palynologist aboard Expedition 379 West Antarctic Ice Sheet History (Jan-Mar 2019). Currently, I am involved in six major projects funded by public and private entities (FAPESP, CNPq, and Instituto Serrapilheira). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
