Cesar worked as postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics in the University of Mississippi Medical Center (2016-2017) and at the Physiology Department of the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto (2014-2016) - USP. He got a doctoral degree from the Pharmacology program by the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto (2014), and a master's degree from the same unit (2011). His undergatuate in Pharmacy-Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - USP (2009). He has experience in the areas of Physiology, Pharmacology and Biochemistry, with emphasis in Protein Biochemistry, working mainly in the following subjects: cardiovascular physiology, cardiovascular pharmacology, acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension, extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, cardiovascular aging, inflammation, nitric oxide and endothelial cells.
