I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000), a master's degree (2003), a doctorate (2011) from the State University of Feira de Santana and a post-doctorate from the Institute of Botany of São Paulo (2008) and by the Royal Botanical Garden, Kew, UK (2019). I am currently Titular Professor at the Federal University of Paraná, in the Angiosperm Phylogeny position. Coordinator (2012-2013, 2014-2015), vice-coordinator (2010-2012, 2024-2026) and permanent advisor of the Postgraduate Program in Botany at the same University. Advisor of the permanent nucleus at the Institute of Biosciences/UNESP/Rio Claro- BIOLOGIA VEGETAL and of the postgraduate program in Ecology and Conservation (UFPR). Productivity scholarship from Fundação Araucária (2014-2016). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Botany with an emphasis on Taxonomy of Orchidaceae, working mainly on the following topics: phylogeny, taxonomy, biogeography and pollination.
