Adrian Torriso Siacara is a professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Geotechnics. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnics from the Polytechnic School of USP, a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and is a Civil Engineer from the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo (UCB). His primary area of expertise in Geotechnics is focused on infrastructure projects, particularly in foundations, slopes, dams, and containment works. He has experience in deterministic and probabilistic analyses, using computational modeling to understand the behavior of infrastructure projects under extreme loading conditions.
