Holds a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelors and Teaching Licensure) from UNESP/Assis (2009), a Masters degree in Biological Sciences Applied Microbiology from UNESP/Rio Claro (2012), including a sandwich program at Lakehead University, Canada (Biotechnology, 2011), and a Ph.D. in the same field from UNESP/Rio Claro (2017), with a research internship at CIRAD, France (Biochemical Engineering, 2016). He completed a FAPESP-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo (USP) and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at UNESP/São José do Rio Preto and CIRAD/Montpellier, France, focusing on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His research interests include Biochemistry and Microbiology, with emphasis on Enzymology, particularly in the areas of lipases, bioprospecting, biocatalysis, biotransformation, and bioseparation.
