Professor at University of Campinas in the department of Water Resources. I am Environmental Engineer from the Federal University of Espírito Santo and PhD in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He worked with hydrological, hydrodynamic and sediment modeling in South America during his PhD thesis. He received a commendation for his master's and PhD thesis and was a finalist for the Young Researcher Award of the Brazilian Association of Water Resources for two consecutive years. In addition, he was a consultant for important projects such as the 'Social and environmental diagnosis of the damage resulting from the collapse of the Fundão dam in the Doce watershed' and the 'Hydrossedimentological study of Guaíba Lake'.
