Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Biologia (IB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

PhD in Agricultural Microbiology from the Federal University of Viçosa. Masters in Agricultural Microbiology (2019) and Bachelors and Teaching Degree in Biological Sciences from the same institution (2017). Former scholarship holder of the Young Talents for Science Program (2013) and the Tutorial Education Program (PET) (2014). In the Molecular Immunovirology Laboratory (LIVM), she researched the use of bacteriophage cocktails as agents for controlling the biofilm of Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria in a project funded by Petrobras, exploring the biotechnological potential of these organisms in an environmental and industrial context. She also developed scaling and optimization processes for bacteriophage production in bioreactors. She was a visiting researcher at the Lab of Gene Technology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, in a project involving the use of bacteriophages for the control of pathogenic bacteria. Currently, is working as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Research on Bacteria and Bacteriophages - CEPID B3, in the Bacterial Molecular Biology Laboratory (IB-UNICAMP) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcelo Brocchi, where she investigates the biotechnological potential of phages and phage enzymes as alternative methodologies for controlling difficult-to-treat bacterial infections."
