I hold a degree in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (2006), and I earned both my master's and doctorate in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (ICMC/USP, 2009 and 2014). Moreover, I have contributed as a visiting researcher (postdoctoral) at the Royal Institute of Technology - KTH in Stockholm, Sweden, and UFSCar on the Sorocaba Campus from February 2023 to January 2024. Currently, I am a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Southern Minas Gerais - Poços de Caldas Campus, where I previously held the position of General Director from 2016 to 2022. My professional journey is deeply rooted in Computer Science, with a particular emphasis on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems. My areas of expertise span computer networks, artificial intelligence (generative models), distributed systems, web services, sensor networks, Internet of Things, performance evaluation, replication control, and aspect-oriented programming.
