He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos (2007), a master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2009), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2011). Currently, he is an Associate Professor I at the Federal University of Goiás. He serves as the President of ALAGO for the 2024-2026 term. He is an Associate Editor of the journal Química Nova and a member of the editorial board of JASMS. Additionally, he is the Coordinator of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Laboratory (LaCEM) at IQ/UFG.His research focuses on the use of innovative mass spectrometry methods to evaluate molecular dynamics in various natural systems, including petroleum geochemical processes and metabolism, as well as the interactions between biological and chemical systems due to anthropogenic activities. Specifically, his work encompasses the areas of petroleomics, instrumental development and applications, isotopic measurements by IRMS, clumped isotope methods for gases, chemical imaging of mineral surfaces using laser ablation techniques, and metabolomics.
