Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Centro de Ciências Exatas e da Natureza (CCEN)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

He is a master's student in the Graduate Program in Physics and Astronomy at the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Guaratinguetá campus, and a special student in the Astrophysics Division of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), where he develops an experimental project at the Gravitational Wave Laboratory. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Physics (2022) and a Teaching Degree in Physics (2024) from UNESP, Bauru campus. He was an ATP-A scholarship holder from CNPq at the Itinerant Planetarium (2023) and worked as a science communicator, focusing on Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Technologies, through the outreach project of the "José Lionel Andriatto" Didactic Observatory of Astronomy (2019-2024). He conducted undergraduate research at the Optical Characterization of Materials Laboratory (LCOM) (2019-2022), where he developed the studies "Optical characterization of commercial light-emitting diodes in different spectral bands" and "Gaussian-Lorentzian theoretical treatment of the Raman spectrum of titanium dioxide nanotubes," as a requirement for obtaining his Bachelor's degree. He was a CAPES scholarship holder in the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID) (2020-2021). He also worked as a teaching assistant in the interdepartmental course Astronomy: Earth and Universe at the Department of Physics (2021-2022). He has held various representative roles, serving as a member of the Physics Course Council (2019-2021), founder and General Coordinator of the Physics Academic Center "Rodrigo Leandro" (C.A.FÍS) (2019-2021), General Coordinator of the Academic Directory "César Lattes" (DACEL), and student representative in the Faculty of Science Council (2021-2023). He was also a student representative in the Administrative Group of the Bauru campus (2022-2023) and is currently a full member of the UNESP University Council (since 2023). He was a scholarship holder in the Institutional Program Unesp Presente, developing the research titled "Climate Change and Physics Education: An Analysis of the National Environmental Education Guidelines and the BNCC," used to obtain his Teaching Degree. He is a collaborating researcher at the Center for Studies on Society, University, and Science at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (since 2023). He was a CNPq scholarship holder in the Astrophysics Division of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), where he developed the research project "Study of materials for cryogenic anti-springs to be used in new generations of laser interferometers for gravitational wave observation," under the supervision of Dr. Odylio Denys de Aguiar. He was also a scholarship holder in the Scientific Vocations Program of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and FAPESP, conducting an internship in nonlinear photonics and its applications at the Department of Physics of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), under the supervision of Dr. Anderson Stevens Leônidas Gomes. He has research interests in the fields of Physics and Astronomy education, environmental education, semiconductor materials for optoelectronic applications, climate change, cosmology, and gravitational wave astrophysics. He is a member of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC), a collaborator of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC) via GW-INPE, and a member of the Cosmic Explorer Consortium.
