Masters in Biological Sciences (Genetics) by the Genetics Biology program of the Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (USP). Bachelors degree in Biology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Currently pursuing his PhD at the Human Genome and Stem Cell Research Center (HUG-CELL) of USP, where he working with gene editing in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from patients with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) using the CRISPR-Cas9 system. He has experience with techniques from the areas of Cell Biology: light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, reprogramming, cell culture and Molecular Biology and Genetics: Sanger sequencing, CRISPR gene editing, Western Blot, qRT-PCR.
