The study of quantum many-body systems is entering a change of paradigm era these days. The recent experimental improvements on, for example, quantum simulators are making it possible to build medium-size quantum systems in almost perfect isolation from their surroundings. At the same time, these new possibilities are making more pressing the quest to answer some deep theoretical question…
The student will work on extending the recent work on developing new models of quantum batteries based on micromasers. In particular, the emphasis will be onstudying the effect of dissipation when the micromaser is working in ultra-strong coupling regime and on considering extensions to multiple micromasers setups.
