Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in History (2024) on the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP). Since 2020, he has dedicated himself to studies on the history of the New Christians in Portugal and Brazil, the role of the Iberian Inquisitions, anti-Jewish discourses and Sephardic migrations. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked as a scholarship holder at the Center for Theater Documentation of ECA-USP, organizing the documentation of the Clóvis Garcia Collection and studying the role of this theater critic and university professor in the formation of the disciplines of "History of Brazilian Theater" and "Brazilian Folklore" at ECA-USP. From 2022 to 2023, he carried out Scientific Initiation research on the Portuguese anti-Jewish treatise "Brief Discourse Against the Heretical Perfidy of Judaism" (1623) with funding from CNPq, having subsequently started a second IC -- also with a CNPq grant -- from which he had to leave to join another project. During 2024, he carried out his third IC research entitled "From Portugal to the Empire of the Sublime Porte: the Duke of Naxos and the Sephardic networks in the Mediterranean Sea (15th-16th centuries)", whose objective was to analyze some practices of communication and circulation of people or material and symbolic goods between Portuguese New Christians and Sephardic Jews settled in the Ottoman Empire of the 16th century, with the aim of observing how such processes of circulation and exchange were able to weave social ties and community bonds between these subjects. This research was supported by a FAPESP grant and is part of the Thematic Project "A Connected History of the Middle Ages: communication and circulation from the Mediterranean". Currently (2025) he is a member of the aforementioned FAPESP Thematic Project as a volunteer researcher and works as an intern on the project "Creation of a Research and Memory Center for the Eugênio Kusnet Arena Theater and the Activist Scene in Brazil" with funding from the National Arts Foundation (FUNARTE). He is a member of the Study Group on Modern Iberian History (GEHIM) and the recently founded Inquisitorial Studies Group (GEInq). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
