She graduated in Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) in 2021, with a degree as a generalist pharmacist. She is a master's student in the Neurotoxicology laboratory in the Pathophysiology and Toxicology program at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP), focusing on neuroscience. Her research is focused on investigating the mechanisms involved in the neuroprotection attributed to harmine, one of the main alkaloids in Ayahuasca, and the neurotoxicity of cocaine, using an in vitro model of differentiated human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells.
