Professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, with a focus on Materials for Renewable Energies. Holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2016), with an international internship at the University of California, Davis, United States (20 months), where he worked with Prof. Dr. Ricardo Castro in the "Nanoceramics Thermochemistry Laboratory," focusing on the thermodynamic stability of nanomaterials (2013-2015), as well as an exchange period at the Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologia dei Materiali Ceramici (ISTEC-CNR) in Faenza, Italy (7 months, 2016). He holds a Masters degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Technology from the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (2009). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the University of São Paulo (USP, 2017-2024). His main research focuses are Nanomaterials Interface Engineering Applied to Renewable Energies and Bioconstruction.
