Graduated as a Biotechnological Engineer from Francisco de Paula Santander University -UFPS, Cúcuta - Norte de Santander / Colombia (2013). Master in Biology of Infectious and Parasitic Agents by the Federal University of Pará, Belém-Pará / Brazil (2017), with scholarship by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico CNPq, with the execution of the dissertation project at the Evandro Chagas Institute, Ministry of Health, in Laboratory of Electron Microscopy-SAHEP/SEMIE, Belém, Pará, Brazil, and, Section of Bacteriology Mycology-SABMI, Ananindeua, Pará, Brazil, focused on the area of #8203;#8203;Nanobiotechnology / Nanoscience and Human Parasitic Protozoology. Acting mainly in ultra structural biology, microscopy, analysis of biomaterials on protozoa, and evaluation of the cytotoxicity of nanocomposites in host cells in vitro and in vivo, as alternative methods in the treatment of American Cutaneous Leishmaniasis. Doctorate carried out in the Program - Biology of Infectious Parasitic Agents, Federal University of Pará (CONCEITO CAPES- 6), with scholarship by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES, executing the Thesis at Laboratory of Electron Microscopy, Evandro Chagas Institute, Ministry of Health, Belém, Pará, Brazil, evaluating the effect of a hydrogel membrane containing nanocomposites on skin lesions, generated by the Leishmania amazonensis parasite, along with the histological diagnosis of cutaneous leishmaniasis disease in a murine BALB/c model, and, making use of molecular biology techniques to determine parasite load.
