Birthplace: Brazil

Holds a Bachelor's degree of Chemical Sciences (Technological Attributions) acquired in Campinas State University (2009), Master's degree in Chemical Sciences, acquired in University of São Paulo (2014) with the dissertation "Simultaneous determination of Cu (II), Pb (II), Cd (II) and Zn (II) in waters and sediments using sequential injection analysis system (SIA) with voltammetric detection ", under the supervision of Prof. Jorge Cesar Masini, and PhD in Chemical Sciences acquired in University of São Paulo (2018) with the thesis entitled "Development of polymer monolithic columns for solid phase extraction of metals and separation of Neurotransmitters by hydrophilic interaction nanocromatography", also under supervision of Prof Jorge Cesar Masini. He has experience in analytical chemistry, having worked on voltammetric determinations of metals in samples of environmental interest with the aid of a sequential injection system during master's degree. He recently completed his PhD in which he participated in the development of porous polymer stationary phases for High Performance Liquid Chromatography and for the treatment of samples by on-line Solid Phase Extraction of potentially toxic metals on water samples after modification of column's functional groups with chelating agent. He completed a short-term internship at Masarykova College, Brno, Czech Republic, under the guidance of Prof Jirí Urban, a specialist in polymer monolithic columns, whose theme was the development and chromatographic characterization of capillary columns composed of methacrylates and polar zwitterionic MEDSA group for separation of dopamine, its metabolites and precursors, by Hydrophilic Interaction Nanocromatography (HILIC), a work that resulted in the publication of an article in "Journal of Separation Science" in cooperation with professor Jiri's group. During the year of 2019 he was dedicated in writing a review article in collaboration with professor Dr. Jorge Cesar Masini and czech professor Frantisek Svec, pioneer in monolithic columns, in which were revised the works that used thiol functionality to produce and modify the surface of monolithic columns. This work was recently published in the journal "Trends in Analytical Chemistry". (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
