Birthplace: Brazil

The author holds an academic background in Chemistry, with a focus on Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry. Their academic journey includes: a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) in 2011, completion of a Master's degree in Chemistry at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) in 2014, and obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) in 2018. Additionally, they served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), specializing in electrochemistry, from 2018 to 2023. Up to the present moment, the author has published 23 articles in specialized journals and one book chapter. Their field of expertise spans various areas, with a focus on Physical Chemistry, particularly in the research of nanostructured metallic electrocatalysts for various applications, including RRO, RDH, RDO reactions, and hydrogen peroxide production. Furthermore, the author has experience with graphene and graphene oxide, particularly in their nanostructured form (nanoribbons). They worked as a higher education professor at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) in 2014, and on a voluntary basis at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) from 2015 to 2022. Additionally, in 2018, they taught as a professor at the State Department of Education of the public school system of Mato Grosso do Sul. Since 2023, the author has been serving as a postdoctoral researcher with a FAPESP scholarship at the Group of Electrochemical and Environmental Processes (GPEA) at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSC) at the University of São Paulo (USP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcos Roberto de Vasconcelos Lanza. In this role, they focus on the development and application of electrocatalytic nanomaterials, with a specific emphasis on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
