Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Conducted a sandwich Ph.D. program for 6 months at Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom. Experienced in the field of bioinformatics in structural genomics through the analysis of data from next-generation sequencers, molecular biotechnology, and molecular evolution of gene families.
