Verónica Ferreira holds a PhD in "Discourses: History, Culture and Society" from the University of Coimbra, as part of the ERC project "CROME. Crossed Memories, Politics of Silence. The Colonial and Liberation Wars in Post-Colonial Times" (ERC-2016-StG-715593). She has a degree in Political Science and International Relations and a master's degree in International Relations from NOVA University Lisbon. She also has a postgraduate degree in Strategic and Security Studies from IDN/NOVA FCSH and is currently attending a postgraduate course in Science and Technology Management and Policies at the same institution. Her current research interests focus on political and media representations; gender studies; decolonial studies; discourses on violence; digital memories; critical discourse analysis; critical Internet studies; and educational policies. She was a research assistant at CIPES, University of Aveiro, on the project "DocParks. Doctoral Education in Science and Technology Parks" (EDULOG - Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation). Her proposal for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship (Horizon Europe 2023) has been approved, he starts in May 2025 at DCU (Dublin, Ireland). She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at NEV-USP, where she is conducting research into masculinities and online gender violence. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
