Graduated in Biological Sciences from Nilton Lins University and holds a Master's and Doctorate in Biological Sciences (Entomology) from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA). Currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the Museum of Zoology at the University of São Paulo (MZUSP), working on the systematics of Asilidae. Has experience in the field of Entomology with an emphasis on Diptera, specializing in the Taxonomy and Systematics of Empidoidea.
