Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação (ICMC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Peru

I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) at the University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos/SP, Brazil. Additionally, I completed my MSc degree in the same field at ICMC-USP in 2018. My academic journey has been defined by a strong focus on research and its practical applications. During my postgraduate studies, I conducted research on the application of complex network concepts for various Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. This includes a wide range of tasks such as document summarization, keyword extraction, text classification, information retrieval, recommendation systems, and authorship attribution. My research scope extended to exploring applications related to the Science of Science, thereby demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of my field. Furthermore, I have taken on the role of a reviewer for scholarly journals, including PLOS ONE and PeerJ, spanning the years 2018 to 2022. I honed my ability to critically evaluate and provide constructive feedback on cutting-edge research contributions. From 2013 to 2015, I collaborated with San Pablo Catholic University (UCSP). This collaboration involved an international project, "Sociology on the Internet," which aimed to devise a comprehensive methodology for public opinion analysis using Text Mining tools. The project's scope spanned across geographical boundaries, uniting expertise from Peru, Russia, and Spain. My academic foundation is grounded in a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from UCSP. The breadth of my research interests encompasses a rich array of topics, including but not limited to Natural Language Processing, complex networks, scientometrics, bibliometrics, machine learning, information retrieval, data science, and text generation tools.
