Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Física (IF)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Postgraduate student (Master's degree) and graduate in Physics from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo. Holds a Technical Degree in Computer Science from ETEC Jardim ngela (2018). Conducted Scientific Initiation (PIBIC-CNPq) at the Applied Biophysics Laboratory in the field of Experimental Molecular Biophysics, investigating the interaction of antimicrobial peptides with different membrane models (monolayers, giant unilamellar vesicles, and micelles) using tensiometry and phase contrast microscopy of sugars. Has participated in science communication and outreach projects at the Ernst Wolfgang Hamburger Demonstration Laboratory and worked as a monitor for undergraduate courses (Mechanics and Introduction to Measurements in Physics). Experienced in tensiometry (Langmuir trough), optical microscopy (phase contrast and fluorescence), Langmuir monolayers, peptide synthesis, formation of MLVs through the rehydration of dry lipid films, extrusion of LUVs and SUVs, and preparation of GUVs by electroformation and PVA gel. Currently studying the asymmetry of the plasma membrane in mammalian cells and the formation of asymmetric giant unilamellar vesicles (aGUVs) through hemifusion. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
