Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral researcher in the ARIES Project (CEPID FAPESP) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), and Coordinator of the Working Group on "Air Pollution: Environmental and Health Impacts" at the Brazilian Society of Ecotoxicology (ECOTOX Brasil). My current postdoctoral research focuses on investigating the relationship between air pollution, respiratory hospitalizations, antibiotic consumption, and antimicrobial resistance, as well as their health impacts in the state of São Paulo. I hold dual degrees in Biochemical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, with a Masters and PhD in Health Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Aquatic Biodiversity Monitoring Program at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). I am currently affiliated with the Laboratory of Economics, Health, and Environmental Pollution (LESPA) at UNIFESP, under the supervision of Professor Simone El Khouri Miraglia. I have experience in the application of advanced methods, including data science and machine learning models, aimed at predictive analysis and the assessment of environmental and public health impacts. My work is primarily focused on the interface between environmental pollution and human health impacts, with an emphasis on air pollution. I also develop studies on the interactions between atmospheric pollutants and environmental variables, particularly in the context of climate change, contributing to the integrated analysis of risks to health and the environment.
